2. Hosting and server log data

This website is hosted by Hostinger. When the website is accessed, the hosting provider processes technically necessary connection data, in particular IP address, time of access, requested resource, referrer, browser and system information. This processing is required to provide the website securely and technically and to prevent abuse and disruptions. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; the legitimate interest is the secure, stable and technically correct operation of the website.

3. Cookies, analytics and marketing tracking

MARKTHEBEL itself does not use analytics, marketing or tracking cookies, analytics pixels, session recording or comparable marketing services. A consent banner is therefore not intended for the functions currently used by this website.

4. Contact by email and the product-check form

When the product-check form is submitted, the entered information is transmitted over an encrypted connection to the web server and processed there solely to create and deliver an email to umsetzung@markthebel.com. No separate customer database is created. Further processing takes place to handle the enquiry and, where applicable, to take pre-contractual steps under Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR; where no pre-contractual relationship exists, processing is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR for the proper handling of the enquiry. The form includes a technically passive honeypot field to reduce automated abuse; no cookies are used for this purpose.

5. Contact by phone

If you contact MARKTHEBEL by phone, information provided during the call is used solely to handle the enquiry and, where applicable, to prepare or conduct a business relationship.

6. Images and external resources

The website does not embed external fonts, analytics libraries or social-media plugins. The portrait used on the site is also served locally from markthebel.com. External websites are only contacted when a corresponding link is actively selected.

7. Retention

Personal data is processed only for as long as necessary for the relevant purpose or for as long as statutory retention obligations apply. The exact retention period for server log data depends on the technical configuration of the hosting provider.

8. Your rights

Subject to the applicable legal requirements, data subjects may have rights including access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection.
